After his graduation 1999 from Klosterneuburg (best know school for winemakers in Austria) he started to work in the family business. 2001 he created his first Cuvée (Blend) with “L’esprit Ferry”. 2004 he took over the work in the cellar and 2008 the business management. Young and dynamic trough presentations, exhibition and of course through the web he merchandises his wine. “But as well as the personal contact to our private clients, the gastronomy as well as to wine trade has still great importance”, so Ferry. Not to mention the guest rooms which are offered directly at the winery.

After Graduation from the tourism school in Bad Ischl in Upper Austria and several years working in tourism in austria, she was working for 5 years as Shore Excursion Manager on Celebrity Cruise Line where she was responsibly for tours like in Alaska, Caribbean or Mediterranean. Anita is now charge of the guestrooms and takes care of our guests. She is as well the “good soul” in the office in regards to correspondence and wine presentation or wine tastings at home.

Franz was one of the pioneers in austria in regards to make wine in French oak barrels (barrrique). After a stay abroad in France her took some experience with him back home and was one of the first in austria to produce wine in barriques. The “Mörbischer Opernballwein” is one of his achievements. Now, retired he still helps his son and puts his whole heart and soul in it. Now and then he attends presentations and exhibition with his wife Käthe.

Käthe, as well retired, takes care of all the decorations trough out the year beginning from the courtyard, guest rooms or wine tasting room. She creates the friendly atmosphere and gives a loving touch to everything. Most of our regular guests become friends and enjoy the pannonic flair, the good wine and the personal contact to the family.
